Possible to connect PC video to LCD TV in next room?

What hardware/software would I need to watch a movie or video playing on my PC to also play on a TV in the next room? I have a pretty good graphics card with DVI out (but it doesn't have s-video.) And the TV in the next room is connected to a DirectTV box. There's something more to just running a wire from the card port to the TV, isn't there?|||No, there really is nothing more than running the cable to connect the two. If the inputs and outputs are incompatible you'll also need an adapter or maybe even a converter.

If you want you could even do it wirelessly - http://www.google.com/search?q=wireless+…

It's hard to find exact measurements but I've run 60ft of VGA cable up through walls and across ceilings with no loss in quality. The best quality cable you can get the better when you're doing runs like that though. I've also run RCA and HDMI through the same conduit and that quality is good too.

You may have problems with DVI - that's got a max cable length of only 25 feet. You can get signal boosters though - http://askville.amazon.com/run-DVI-cable…|||If both have HDMI ports you can use that, otherwise you need a special cable which can be purchased at any electronics store, just let the employee know which ports each unit is compatible with.
